Time for some good news!

Hi ! :)
So, I've got some good news for you! Or, mostly for me, but I'm just eager to share!
First off, I finished the second page on Sweet Shoppe! It is just getting more and more gorgeous and I just want it finished and up on my wall right now!!

Here's what I've done so far

And on to the next good news: We're moving!
Me and my hubby moved from his hometown to my hometown for about five months ago. And ended up with bad neighbours. Or not bad, but more ignorant. They listen to music veeery loud (our floor is shaking. And our furniture. And so on) And even though we've told them a couple of times they haven't even tried to do anything about the bass, that's the most of the problem.
Aaaanyway, my father is a plumber and has his own company, and above them there's a biiig apartment that just got free for rent. So we're moving there.
It's an amazing flat; no neighbours, one balcony and one terrace with a small piece of lawn and everything!! Can't wait to move there... So so happy!
I'll post pictures as soon as I get a few worth showing, I mostly have blurry ones on my cellphone. :)

You are my sunshine..

At last I've been having enough time to sit down by the computer and share this with you!
It's been a lot to do and my finger's been itching to finally press "Publish" and show you what I've been working on this last month :D

This is it! I found the chart on Etsy, and it was so fun to stitch! There's two more in the collection (of course the verse has to be complete!) and I can't wait to stitch them as well. But for now, it's Sweet Shoppe that's taking the time, since I've started over with it, I've done 1200 stitches, it just takes so much time when you have to do it a second time..

It has begun!

This Friday I finally got all the floss from Sharon, the sweet woman who gifted me Sweet Shoppe (and the floss). She had also kindly sent bobbbins :)

Since I wasn't home this Friday, and instead celebrating St. Lucy's Day (a wierd Scandinavian holiday represented by a person in a white dress with a red sash around the waist, and to top it off, a crown with candels on the head) watching movies the entire night.
But as soon Saturday came along I started with the bobbinating!
I finished Sunday morning, and just look at all the lovely colours!

And, of course, I couldn't hold myself for starting right away. yesterday when I went to bed I've reached 1600 stitches, I've never stitched so fast! The chart is really, really fun, and I just can't wait to keep stitching, and honestly that's exactly what I'm going to do right now!

Page 2 - DONE!

So the day has come!
All you're wonderful comments and inspiration really gets me the will to keep on stitching; the last week I've felt like I've been a little slow on the stitches and haven't really gotten that  "YAY, LET'S STITCH"-feeling that I usually have. But all your joy helped me push to the goal and the second page has come to an end.
I must say that starting with the pin stitches also helped, before I always made a big mess of all the threads that had to be secured and so on.

Here comes a little photo of the progress; it's really starting to look like something now, and it's so fun to see all the details show up before your very eyes!

I've already started on the third page, so hopefully you'll get another update soon :)
Have a great day/evening and wish you will come back for more!

Hobbit Meals

WIP lotr

Well, as I said, I'm working on a side project for the moment.
It's nothing more than a little hobbit inspired menu, but it's enough to put a smile to my lips everytime I see it!

I'm stitcing it on 18 ct aida, and it's a delight compared to the 25 ct evenweave my HAED is going up on :)
